History of Frontier Logistics LLC.

Frontier Logistics, LLC started out as a division of Frontier Transport Corp. Frontier Transport Corp is an asset based Truckload Carrier with coverage throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Frontier Logistics was developed to answer a need from our clients who were feeling the “Capacity Crunch”. Clients wanted us to enhance and expand our network to also include service to/from the Southwest, Northwest, Central States and West Coast markets. While this allowed us to provide service to new territories for existing clients it also provided an expanded model for acquiring new clients. With the continued growth of our Logistics division we found ourselves handling as much freight in overlapping areas as in the new growth areas. While originally considered an enhancement to our asset side, its growth was so rapid that it quickly became a direct and worthy competitor.

At the end of 2013, while still handling overflow from our asset side, it was determined that Frontier Logistics seemed to be taking on its own customer base and specific lanes tailored to our growing and expansive carrier base. To eliminate any operational conflict of interest, Frontier Logistics was spun off. Thus in 2014 Frontier Logistics, LLC was born. With an already established and growing client base and a following of some 300 plus carriers, Frontier Logistics LLC soon became one of the larger non-asset based, Logistics service providers in the Southeast.

It is our willingness to work not only with our valued clients, but also to look at our carriers as valued partners that sets us apart. We utilize carrier/partners that provide capacity and service levels that meet or in most cases, exceed our clientele expectations. We utilize a core group of carrier/partners that view Frontier Logistics LLC., as one of their Top Tier customers, filling key gaps in their network. It would be safe to say that we are a Top Twenty Shipper for our top 25 carrier/partners. This enables us to provide clients with a service level and capacity equal to or greater than any asset based Truckload provider in the market today.
